MARTIAL LAW WINS FREESTYLE IN MANKATO

We knew we were going to have a good time in Mankato, being a hometown crowd and having our friends and family here for the first time, but I had no idea how good. I seen two of the most amazing saves I have ever seen, and I have been to world finals, I have been to the Live Nation dome shows, and honestly I haven't seen a better save. The first save was great, I thought he had freestyle won, but the second one, about 45 seconds later, I thought the truck was rolled, it was so far over, I was running out to the truck, the whole side panel of the tire was covered in dirt, you know it is on it's side when the side of the tire was on the ground, when I seen him drive out of that I went crazy, I can't remember a time I was that overwhemled with excitement.

So with only a few races under his belt Paul had the crowd on their feet, me about to have a heart attack, and another freestyle win. After he won, he said, "All I could hear was Dennis Anderson in my ear saying -- if your going to lose it, drive into the ground, and stay on the gas." I don't think it was Dennis in his ear, I think it was my good luck kiss, or just that he has the making of a great Monster Truck driver.
